SM Development Corporation (SMDC), the premium middle-income property unit of the SM Group, will spend at least P3 billion for its new residential condominium project Sea Residences located within the Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City, Philippines.
Sea Residences, aptly named for providing views of Manila Bay, is SM Dev't Corporation's sixth residential project within Metro Manila, Philippines and the first of planned residential developments that will rise at the Mall of Asia Complex.
At the media briefing after the groundbreaking rites for the project, SM Dev't Corp. President Rogelio R. Cabuñag said that Sea Residences will be in the midst of a busy area as it is close to the SM Mall of Asia and the planned entertainment city of PAGCOR, which makes it "a good market for residential units".
Sea Residences is a modern tropical condominium complex that will rise on a 1.8-hectare lot along Diokno Boulevard Pasay City, Philippines. It consists of six 15-storey towers that offers a total of 2,580 units.
First phase covers building the whole podium level, which consists of a lower ground floor with parking and utilities, the ground floor with parking and commercial areas and second floor where amenities, including five swimming pools, will be located.
Other amenities and services at Sea Residences include a wet play area, a children's play area, a pavilion-style clubhouse, a spa facility and commercial spaces to cater to the needs of its residents.
This year, SMDC plans to launch in the "next couple of months" the Field Residences located on a seven-hectare property behind SM City Sucat in Parañaque City. Field Residences is composed of six clusters of 15-storey condominium units with combined available units of 1,700.
